Professionals from the cultural sector in other countries are offered a personal programme in which they meet artists and other relevant people from the sector and visit museums, arts centres, educational institutions and galleries. The programme is prepared in close consultation with the visitor. Account is taken of the visitor's actual wishes and in addition they are put in touch with artists and organisations that are not so well known internationally. In this way, BAM tries to arouse international interest in contemporary art in Flanders and enhance its position abroad.
