AICA - Art Critics' Association Announces Awards for Best Shows of 2011
The International Association of Art Critics (AICA-US) announced the winner of its annual AICA Awards honoring artists, curators and institutions for excellence in art exhibitions in 2011. The winners were selected by the 400 critics and other art experts who make up the association's membership.
The award for 'Best thematic museum show in New York' went to the exhibition 'On Line: Drawing Through the Twentieth Century' at MoMA (from 21 November till 7 February 2011) curated by Connie Butler and Belgian curator Catherine de Zegher.
