First released in May 2007, the 'Arts Flanders' newsletter (in English) has expanded into an extensive news platform on art and culture from Flanders. In order to make 'Arts Flanders' an even more attractive platform for the international visitor, a new lay-out has been designed. We hope 'Arts Flanders' will become the place-to-be for news and information on Flemish art and culture abroad and on cultural activities in Flanders.

The newsletter is sent to more than five thousand international professionals, networking organisations, media, embassies and other stakeholders abroad. Bi-monthly, the newsletter gives a brief selection of concerts, performances, exhibitions, publications and conferences. From now on, the website gives a more extensive overview and permits to consult items per sector more easily.

The news items are written by the initiators: the Flanders Music Centre, the Vlaams Theater Instituut (platform of performing arts), the Flemish Architecture Institute, Flemish institute for visual, audiovisual and media art, the Flemish Literature Fund and FARO.
