1) BIO

Neus Miró is an art critic and freelance curator based in Barcelona (Spain). She received her MA from the Royal College of Art in London in 1996. Her practice includes writing on art, lecturing, teaching, and curating. She has curated a number of shows including most recently Los Tiempos de un lugar (CDAN, Huesca-2009), Crossing Walls (CAAM, Canarias-2008). She was one of the co-curators of Monocanal (2004) at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), and Histories Animades (2006-2007) that was produced by Fundació "la Caixa" (Barcelona) and Le Fresnoy, Studio National des arts contemporains (Lille) and toured a number of venues. In the curated exhibitions and video programmes she has worked with artists such as: Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Tacita Dean, Jane & Louise Wilson, Jonas Dahlberg, Robert Smithson, Stan Brakhage, John Smith, Mika Taanila, Alicia Framis, Sergio Prego, Darren Almond, Patricia Dauder, etc.

She writes extensively for catalogues and magazines such as Benzina, Exit Express, Contemporary and Flash Art.
