Lorenzo Fusi is the International curator for the Liverpool Biennial '10 . Until April 2009 he was Curator of sms contemporanea in Siena (Italy) and until 2008 he was Chief Curator at the Palazzo delle Papesse. Fusi has curated numerous solo shows including: Gordon Matta-Clark; Christian Boltanski; Anya Gallacio; Carlos Garaicoa; Barbara Kruger; Annette Messager; Cyprien Gaillard and Nari Ward, as well as a number of group exhibitions; artists he has commissioned include Olafur Eliasson, Sergio Prego, Richard Wilson, Paul Morrison, Jenny Holzer and Emily Jacir. Fusi has edited numerous catalogues and books. Within his work as a curator he has been able to explore issues related to gender, race, cultural identity, diversity and discrimination, and social or political conflicts via a series of group shows such as Identità & Nomadismo, System Error-War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning, and Il Palazzo delle Libertà.

3. RESULTS
After his visit to Belgium Lorenzo Fusi invited artist Filip Gilissen. He presented the project 'A one night exhibition/tribute to Felix Gonzalez Torres' during a Launch night on May 14, 2010 in Liverpool.
Furthermore he selected Kris Martin with existing work and Wannes Goetschalckx will propose a new commissioned work. Their work will be on viuw from September 18 – November 28, 2010 in Touched, the International exhibition for the 6th Liverpool Biennial International Festival of Contemporary Art.
