Visual Kitchen is een audiovisuele kunstenfabriek met vele gezichten. Wat ooit startte als een collectief werd gaandeweg een draaischijf in een netwerk van samenwerkingen. Visual Kitchen haalt zijn kennis uit een jarenlange ervaring van VJ'ing en live performances, zowel in de underground achterzaaltjes als groots opgezette producties voor een breed publiek. Als productiehuis realiseerden ze videoclips, liveshows, commercials en organiseerden mee audiovisuele evenementen. Visual Kitchen neemt artistiek deel in de organisatie van het Cimatics festivals, programmeert en boekt VJ's en werkt samen met een breed gamma van eigentijdse muzikanten, gaande van visuals voor Marc Moulin tot de adaptatie van een Stockhausen compositie.
Visual Kitchen verlegt de semantische grenzen van de Live AV performance en videokunst vanuit een achtergrond van VJ'ing en Muziekvideo productie. Als makers van bewegende beelden, transformeert Visual Kitchen elke (niet-)narratieve structuur in een overweldigende stroom van visuele flux, met een combinatie van rigoureus gestructureerde loops en soft- of hardwarematige chaos. Het resultaat is divers en veelzijdig, van analoge fotografie tot digitaal minimalisme, maar altijd gebaseerd op de parameters van het canvas waarop het uiteindelijk gepresenteerd wordt.

Pole für 2
The legendary Stockhausen piece, composed for the German pavilion at the Osaka '70 EXPO, reinterpreted by Arne Deforce on Cellotron, a midi interface on a deconstructed cello, and electronic sound by Eavesdropper. The spatialized sound on an 8 speaker system, mixed by CRFMW, also serves as a modulator for the video signal that is being generated by a dual MX50 setup with source noise feedback.
