FRANCE - FESTIVAL DE CANNES - FELIX VAN GROENINGEN, CAROLINE STRUBBE, PETER BROSENS & JESSICA WOODWORTH

This year, a record number of three Flemish films has been officialy selected for the Cannes Film Festival . 'De helaasheid der dingen' by Felix Van Groeningen will be presented in the programme of the 'Quinzaine des Réalisateurs' and the films 'Lost Persons Area' by Caroline Strubbe and 'Altiplano' by Peter Brosens and  Jessica Woodworth will participate in the competition Semaine de la Critique. The three films are supported by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF). The Belgian animation film 'Panique au village' will be shown as a Midnight screening at the festival.
