M HKA and Wiels score high in Artforum's "Best of 2012". Raoul De Keyser, one of Belgium's major abstract painters, deceased at 82 years old. De Keyser worked since the 60s to a very personal body of work which cannot be reduced to any fixed category.

In "Cripplewood", her site specific installation, De Bruyckere builds upon her existing oeuvre - intertwining life and death in intimate sculptures - in relation to the historical context of Venice.
