Martin Germann appointed senior curator at S.M.A.K.

S.M.A.K. is pleased to announce our new Senior Curator: Martin Germann. Between 2008 and 2011 Martin Germann has been Curator at kestnergesellschaft Hanover. He has worked on solo exhibitions and publications with artists like Michaël Borremans, Michael Sailstorfer, Larry Sultan, Aaron Curry, Julian Göthe, Elke Krystufek, or Joachim Koester.

Call for proposals - Digital Cinema in Flanders - deadline 18 November

DICIF (Digital Cinema in Flanders) invites you to put forward a proposal as to how your company can assist in the digital transition of a group of 15 venues in Flanders, Belgium. Applications are welcomed from appropriately qualified and experienced companies, or from a consortium of companies who have decided to work together and whose collective approach may more fully meet the needs and requirements of DICIF.

E-Culture Fair 2011 - Connecting culture, creativity, research and technology on 16 & 17 November

The E-CULTURE FAIR 2011 is a showcase of Flemish innovative projects resulting from collaborations in culture, creative industries, research and education. This GARDEN OF E- focuses on a variety of e-projects concerning digital heritage, user participation, gamification, edutainment, the internet-of-things, open source collaboration and innovation etc. The set-up of the fair with installations, prototypes, demos, live presentations and living lab experiences encourages encounters, exchange and future collaborations between Flemish and international creatives, artists, researchers, designers, platforms and institutions.
