Theme: System Error : in times of crisis, artists take a stand
The financial system. The European Union. Belgium. Failure is all around us. Times of crisis can be a great opportunity for artists to shed new light, to bring other ideas to the table, to inspire people.
 
Form: Timelab's springcamp is an annual gathering of twelve local and international artists. The backgrounds of the artists can be very diverse. What they share is a passion for exchanging ideas and a sense of adventure to develop work in a brief time span.
 
Setting: Timelab is a workspace for art, technology and society - based in Ghent/Belgium. Timelab runs an artistprogram and a Fablab.
 
Springcamp 2012 is a collaboration with Argos, Vooruit and Beursschouwburg.
