Connecting culture, creativity, research and technology - 16 & 17 November 2011
The E-CULTURE FAIR 2011 is a showcase of Flemish innovative projects resulting from collaborations in culture, creative industries, research and education. This GARDEN OF E- focuses on a variety of e-projects concerning digital heritage, user participation, gamification, edutainment, the internet-of-things, open source collaboration and innovation etc. The set-up of the fair with installations, prototypes, demos, live presentations and living lab experiences encourages encounters, exchange and future collaborations between Flemish and international creatives, artists, researchers, designers, platforms and institutions.
The E-CULTURE FAIR aims at everyone who is curious about the digital culture of today and tomorrow. It is a unique chance to discover en try out projects, and to meet developers, project managers and designers.
The E-CULTURE FAIR 2011 is organized by support organizations working in the arts in Belgium (BAM, VTi, MCV, VAi) in coproduction with Flanders DC, IBBT and Z33, as a partner event of the Creativity World Forum which is organized by Flanders DC. ECF 2011 is supported by the Flemish Authorities: the Department of Culture, Youth, Sports and Media and the Department of Economy, Science and Innovation.
