The 'Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid' will create in Madrid a space of discovery and reflection between new cinema and contemporary art, at the Reina Sofia National Museum, the Spanish Cinematheque, the Antiguo Edificio de Tabacalera, the Auditorio del Ministerio de Cultura. In the presence of artists and filmmakers from all over the world, this rare event will propose an international programme of film, video, multimedia. It includes 24 screenings, a video exhibition, a cycle of debates and panel discussions.

With works by a.o. Aglaia Konrad, Willem Oorebeek, Michel François, Loïc Vanderstichelen, Karel De Cock, Hans Op de Beeck, Vincent Meessen, Peter Downsbrough.

The 'Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid' will be presented at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin from 28 June to 3 July 2011.
