After participating in several group exhibitions in Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe, Sarah Van Marcke will now have a solo exhibition at the Flanders Center in Osaka. For Sarah Van Marcke, the search for the perfect location is a primary move when working on an image. A formula for the image Sarah creates is the balance between three contextual pillars: architecture, landscape and object. Subject to the image are empty urban or suburban spaces.
She will present 24 photographs from the series "Untitled" and "Places" together with 1 video, and will have an artist talk on Saturday April 3rd at the Center.
