THE NETHERLANDS - BREDA - LOKAAL 01 - MYPAINTNG.NU

Four different presentations of the same forty paintings. That is the way MyPainting.nu is conceived.  The first of these four presentations will show all 40 works that have been selected by Lokaal 01 in collaboration with the Belgian painters Jean-Marie Bytebier and Kris Van Dessel. They have been looking for non narrative paintings that make you wonder about the space outside of the canvas.

MYPAINTING.NU is an exhibition involving the visitor, who needs to define his own physical relation towards the presented non narrative works. Some inspiration will be provided through the eyes of others: the selected paintings will be presented three more presentations by  video expert Christophe Van Eecke, by curator-artist Jan Maarten Voskuil  and by the Rotterdam painter Olphaert den Otter.

Their works will be present in Lokaal 01 from  April 19 until July 12 but not all paintings will be visible during the whole project.
